Visible mould after storms, leaks or air-conditioning overflow
Mould Remediation
Gladstone
Coastal humidity, storm water and hidden leaks make mould a regular Gladstone problem. Restore Corp brings controlled remediation — containment, HEPA and honest scoping — as we grow our Central Queensland presence.
A controlled plan from moisture source to handback.
In Gladstone, mould rarely appears for no reason. Warm air, wet seasons and water trapped in plaster or beneath flooring create the conditions for growth. Painting over it or fogging a room without fixing the moisture source is how the problem returns.
Restore Corp uses IICRC S520-aligned practice: find the driver, define Condition, contain, remove or clean correctly, dry and document. Gladstone attendance is coordinated through our Queensland operations with the same standards used across QLD, NSW and VIC.
Mould remediation for homes, claims and commercial sites.
Musty rooms with suspected cavity or subfloor moisture
Bathroom, laundry and roof-space related growth
Rental and strata mould scopes that need clear evidence
Commercial and light-industrial contaminated areas
Hygienist-directed remediation and clearance coordination
Simple, documented and properly controlled.
Assess
Identify the moisture source, extent and Condition 1, 2 or 3 of affected areas.
Contain
Isolate the work zone and protect clean rooms and HVAC pathways where required.
Remediate
Remove unsalvageable materials and HEPA-clean salvageable surfaces.
Dry & document
Stop the water driver, dry the structure and retain clear photo and moisture records.
Hand back
Prepare for rebuild or coordinate clearance testing when the scope requires it.
Remediation without drying is temporary.
If the moisture source is still active, mould can return. We treat remediation and structural drying as one system, with evidence suitable for the claim and any appointed hygienist.

Gladstone mould remediation FAQs.
Do I need a hygienist before mould work?
Not every job starts with sampling, but insurer and complex losses often require it. If a hygienist report exists, we work to that scope. If not, we will explain when sampling or clearance is the smarter pathway.
Can I just wipe mould with bleach?
Surface wiping often fails on porous materials and does not resolve the moisture source. Proper remediation considers extent, Condition, containment and whether materials can be safely salvaged.
Will you remove walls or try to save them?
We salvage what is supportable and remove what is not. The decision depends on Condition, material type and hidden moisture, and we explain the evidence before opening an area.
Does insurance cover mould remediation?
It may when mould results from a sudden insured water event. Gradual seepage, condensation and maintenance issues can be treated differently. We document the site conditions so the claim discussion stays factual.
How quickly can you attend?
